Monday, September 28th, 2015

On September 28th, the International Photography Awards competition (IPA) announced Category Winners of 2015 Competition. The jury, who this year received over 27,000 submissions from 104 countries around the world, was pleased to declare that I was awarded First Prize in the Architecture Category and was named 2015 IPA Architectural Photographer the Year for the winning entry Leviathan.

The photograph of Riverside66 in Tianjin, China was captured for the architectural firm Kohn Pedersen Fox.

In collecting the overall category prize, I placed First in Architecture/Building sub-category with Leviathan and First in the Architecure/Other category for the Calatrava Variations, a series of interior images of the World Trade Center Transit Hub in New York City. Six other images received Honorable Mentions from the jury.
