Hitch Commons

Originally constructed in 1981 to provide housing for athletes at the 1984 Olympics, UCLA’s Hitch Commons has recently re-opened after a year long renovation and expansion by Steinberg.

In addition to upgrading the complex structurally, windows, flooring, plumbing and fire/safety systems were replaced. An entirely new student services building houses laundry facilities, vending machines, offices and meeting facilities.
